John is an important member to the Han's Tae Kwon Do Academy:  Progression Team.  John's enthusiasm for taekwondo and open-minded attitude toward learning new techniques, makes him an extremely powerful adversary in any competition or any match. He is very responsible and is a dependable young man, he  seldom misses class and is always a positive influence to the younger members of his team.  In the 2010 competition season, John hopes to qualify and compete in the USA-Taekwondo Junior Olympic Nationals.             "My name is John E.  I have been doing Tae Kwon Do for at least a year now.  I started Taekwondo in 2007.  I competed in three tournaments and won four medals.  Afterwards, I transferred to Han's Tae Kwon Do Academy in May 2008.  I have competed in two more tournaments with Han's and got 4 more medals (all gold).  I missed out on 2008 Nationals, but plan to go next year.  In the future, I would like to attend more tournaments and eventually become a Grandmaster.  I also hope to be, one day, an Olympic hopeful for the United States.       My hobbies include skateboarding, tennis, track, dirtbiking, and surfing.  I look forward to joining the Air Force after high school.  Then attend film school in USC to get a career as a producer.  Also, I would like to attend a semester of high school in Japan.  But for now, I am focused on school and Taekwondo.  I really enjoy Taekwondo.  It has given me self-respect and self-confidence."  Written by John E.
