2008 U.S. Elite Open Results |
June 22, 2008 The U.S. Elite Open Championship was spectacular! This event was the most enjoyable this year, thus far. Our athletes had a great time and all the parents and friends enjoyed the barbecue, activities, and comraderie. Han's Tae Kwon Do Academy would like to thank the organizing committee for their efforts and hard work which made the event successful and enjoyable. Special thanks to the support teams who travelled all the way to Oceanside to cheer for us. We appreciate your help! Please be sure to check here often. I will upload pictures and videos as soon as I can. We won a 6-foot Trophy, a Championship Cup, 33 GOLD medals, 5 SILVER, and 2 BRONZE. Summary: We kicked butt-om!
Han's Tae Kwon Do Academy won the Best School Award Cup -AND- the Grand Championship Trophy.
Grandmaster Han was honored by the City Mayor of Oceanside, Jim Wood.
